Sorella is an anxiously awaited casual sister restaurant to Michelin starred Acquerello. In fact it means sister in Italian! It is located where 1760 once was. Having this pedigree, we quickly added it to our must visit list. The menu is pretty wide ranging with a good assortment of starters, lots of pastas, and a couple large mains. They are able to accommodate a special pasta for vegans and gluten-free folks. Service was better than expected. Very warm and friendly. Sorella’s is an inviting Italian restaurant serving up really good food, especially the appetizers. It’s a hard reservation to make, so if you come early you can just sit at the bar. Parking is not easy in this neighborhood. Food Picks Mojito ($15) what’s strong and well done. Lots of ice though. 9/10 Potato leek focaccia bread ($6) is freshly made and top-notch. 10/10 Pea shoots ($14) it’s also top notch, with a slight bit of heat and elevated with the Botarga. 9.5/10 Salad ($14) was well-balanced and not overly dressed.
