Why did we dine here? – The Saratoga is a contemporary American restaurant in the old Saratoga Hotel building. It is park of the well respected Bacchus Management Group (Village Pub, Spruce, etc) The focus is on a high end pub with strong drinks as well as good food. Insider Tip – Call ahead and go when they have Wagyu Prime Rib! Cuisine – Contemporary American Location – San Francisco Tenderloin Opened – 2016 Service – The Saratoga had professional service from a waitress that knew her stuff. No worries here. Verdict – The Saratoga continues the tradition of this restaurant group. Solid food and service in an clubby historic atmosphere. Is this restaurant worth a 5 minute drive? Yes. 30 minute? Maybe. 1 Hour? No. The Saratoga Signature Dishes – Hamachi crudo, Hamburger, Toga Tots, Walking Dead cocktail The Saratoga’s Menu is fairly short and concise. 9 appetizers, 4 salads, 5 dinner entrees.
