Buckeye Roadhouse Restaurant Review, Mill Valley

Buckeye Roadhouse has been serving up American comfort food In Mill Valley since 1937. Robert Price (Rumpus, The Capital Hotel in London) is currently the chef. This restaurant is located right on the side of 101 and is quite popular. Our last meal was in the Spring of 2020 after they reopened the patio. This restaurant is run by the Real Restaurant group that also owns Betelnut, Bix, and Fog City Diner among others. Why did we dine here? – We were in the Tennessee Valley area and haven’t eaten here in many years. Summary – Buckeye Roadhouse serves up solid American food in a classic rustic building. Insider Tip – Make reservations or hope that there is a seat in the bar. Cuisine – American Location – Mill Valley Opened – 1937 Service – Buckeye Roadhouse had reasonable service with a fairly knowledgeable server, and pretty constant water refills. Verdict – Buckeye Roadhouse serves up a wide variety of American classics, with something for everyone. The food is solid, prices are high, but the location perfect for a special meal.
